What are the ingredients in the Soluvert products?

The active ingredients and the preservatives come from renewable, natural resources. The surfactants (used for cleaning and removing grease) are usually derived from sugar sources (sugar beets and sugar cane, for example). The solvents come from plant sources (beet alcohol, for example). The descaling agents come from fruit sources (lemon and apple acids, for example).  Soluvert products do not contain any formaldehyde, synthetic musks, glycol ethers, phosphates, EDTA or NTA, and they do not use any substances classified as "hazardous to the ozone layer".

What is the European Ecolabel?

The European Ecolabel distinguishes those products that are most respectful of the environment. It is the only official ecological label for household detergents. In France, this label is awarded by an independent organisation named AFNOR.
By buying a product that displays the flower - the distinguishing European Ecolabel logo - you can be sure that you have selected a product that complies with the most stringent environmental criteria. These strict requirements pertain to the entire life cycle of the product:  from raw material extraction, manufacturing and packaging to product use and after-use elimination.
The European Ecolabel also guarantees the effectiveness of the products that bear it.
Finally, by the limitations it imposes on the use of toxic and harmful products, it also contributes to decreasing risks to the user. For more information, please visit http://ec.europa.eu/ecolabel

What makes the Soluvert requirements more demanding than those of the European Ecolabel?

Ecolabel requires surfactants in formulas to be biodegradable. At Soluvert, our formulas are entirely biodegradable.
The European Ecolabel authorises certain synthetic active ingredients. However, all of Soluvert's active ingredients come from natural sources.
The European Ecolabel requires fragrances to be in limited doses and musk-free. Soluvert complies with these requirements, and our perfumes do not contain any allergens.
The European Ecolabel limits the use of dyes. At Soluvert, not only do we limit the use of dyes, but we also use dyes that come from plant sources.
