At Soluvert, we believe that tomorrow is built today. This is why we have developed a complete range of household cleaning products that have limited effects on the environment. Our objective in this area is twofold: offer products that are as effective as the classic products and that are without danger for the environment. To fulfil this double goal, we have implemented very demanding specifications. Every day, we will discover new ways to make our products clean and effective. |
The active ingredients, those famous "ionic or non-ionic surfactants" and preservatives that we use, all come from vegetable or mineral sources. We make sure that the materials used are renewable.
They can, for example, come from :

The majority of the Soluvert packaging is in recyclable HDPE. This material gives packaging a second life. Give plastic a second life... When you empty your Soluvert bottles, you can put them in the recyclable bin. The plastic collected from your home will first be sorted in your recyclable centre, and then transformed by material recovery specialists. Once they have been washed, the bottles will be ground into granules that will be used to manufacture new items, such as pipes or red electrical sheathing. |
Our objective for 2010 : to go even further.
In 2010, we will dedicate a large portion of our R&D investments to developing the Soluvert packaging of tomorrow. This packaging will combine practicality of use, preservation of formulas and respect for the environment.
In 2004, when we were seeking to develop our range of ecological household products, we insisted on having our processes certified by a third party. We naturally turned towards European Ecolabel - the only official ecological certification.
Today, as soon as we develop a new ecological product, we have it certified by Ecolabel. Look for the "flower" to verify that a product has this certification.
Select the "flower": it is a guarantee.
|
The European Ecolabel guarantees that the product you choose complies with the most rigorous environmental criteria throughout its life cycle: from raw material extraction, manufacturing and packaging to the use of the product and finally its post-use elimination. Granted by independent organisations, such as AFAQ-AFNOR in France, the European Ecolabel also guarantees the effectiveness of products. Finally, by the limitations it imposes on the use of toxic and harmful products, it also contributes to decreasing risks to the user. |
Today, there are 50 categories of products or services that can be “ecolabelled”.
In household products, there are four product families that can "wear the flower" :
